MEG 350 - thermally expanded graphite (TEG) 350 mesh, obtained by microwave exfoliation. TEG is used in the production of fireproof and chemically resistant seals, intumescent fire retardant coatings, paints, fire extinguishing compounds, flame retardant polymer compositions and mixtures. The resulting graphene nanopletelets (GNP) can be effective as nano-sized additives for new composite materials with improved thermal, electrical and mechanical characteristics. Also, GNP can be used in lithium-ion batteries and supercapacitors as an anode material or as a current-conducting additive to cathode materials.
